Ambulance Cadet Team from Hwa Chong Institution, Zone 7 have won the Y.T.M. Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Challenge Trophy in the Bi-Annual Singapore Malaysia First Aid Competition!

Combined Corps Camp 2011

Combined Corps Camp 2011 was successfully completed!  We couldn't have done it without the organising committee headed by Ying Suan & Shamane, mentored by Ah Tan, and all officers who have helped out in the camp! Last but not least, all the trainers and trainees who have participated in the camp, it was a blast!

Singapore Malaysia First Aid Competition Trip 2011

Dear Officers,

This is with regard to the Singapore Malaysia First Aid Competition 2011. This year, Zone 7 has the privilege of sending an AC team to Malaysia to represent Singapore in the upcoming first aid competition.

As this is an once in 4 years trip to Malaysia, it will be an interesting event for all to attend and network with our Malaysian counterparts. It will be a good learning experience for aspiring competition team members and trainers.

The details are as follows:

Date: 10th to 13th June 2011
Competition Date: 12th June 2011

Currently, our Zone Commissioner, Mr. Kuo is exploring the option of obtaining some sponsorship from our Zone Presidents. However, the estimated cost of the trip without subsidy stands at approximately SGD 200 - 250.

Officers, please do check with your Corps whether they are any interested cadets and officers who would like to take part in the trip.

Please also do revert back to the Operations Head via email by 26th April 2011.

National First Aid Competition 2011

Zone 7 has done well in this years National First Aid Competition (NFAC). 

The results are as follows:

AC - Champion

AA - 2nd Runner Up

NC - 6th

NA - 6th

Zone 7 has successfully completed our annual zone first aid competition! Thank you all competitors for your hard work put in and we hope that it was a fulfilling and unforgettable experience for all. Thank you all judges and officers for making today possible and we hope to see you again next year!

Zone 7 Chingay First Aid Public Duty 2011

Zone 7 has successfully completed our assigned Chingay Public duty from 11th - 12th February. I would like to thank our Zone Public Duty officer, Jia Wei, for organising and coordinating this Public Duty for the Zone and Ting Ting for taking out time to guide our cadets during the public duty. Thank you cadets for making it a fun and enjoyable experience! I hope that all of you have enjoyed yourselves!

First Post on Zone 7 Blog

Dear volunteers of Zone 7,

This post marks the first post of this blog, which I hope that there will be many more to come. 

This blog will serve to update all members of the happenings at the zone level, as well as the iniatives that we will introduce. We will also highlight key and pertinent points which we have discussed in our zone meetings.

As many of you should know, Zone 7 had a change in our organisation structure, which can be found on this blog. After the first Teachers-in-Charge meeting of 2011, we have compiled a combined calendar (including zone and hq events) which is available to all members on this blog. I have also included a upcoming events section as well as a photo sections for all our activities. So far, I have uploaded the photos for Zone Presentation 2010.

Our next event will be the Secondary 1 Inauguration and I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Happy Chinese New Year and I hope that we can have a fruitful year ahead.
